Hello guys, if you followed my blog you may know that I fucking love flying with planes or rather fly them by myself. Last week I had some free days and I spent them flying in the simulator. I was flying with some other pilots and real ATC, so it was really really cool :)
One of my penpals from Finland got excited about it, so I decided to do a virtual flight to her: Helsinki

It wasn't my best flight but it's fun anyway :) The main thing is to come back on earth healthy, isn't it? :P

Today a friend asked me to come over after work. I’d be bored anyway, so I decided to go to him. He’s a speedcuber too. I teached him a few years ago. My little padawan :P His current besttime is about 38 seconds. Mine is 18.46 seconds. His average is pretty high :D About 50 sec to 1 min.
We decided to make a fun video. Scramble all the cubes I got with me an solve them. See yourself ;)

I guess everyone loves traveling. How about you? Do you like it? Well, I like it! I love it! I also like to be at airports, especially at Frankfurt am Main “Fraport”. It’s just reassuring to be there and watch planes approach and departure. That’s one of my biggest wishes: To be a pilot. Hmmm, I work as a website-programmer :D

Back to the airport-topic. I love to be there at night, everything seems so easy there. I know the Frankfurt airport pretty good, so I know where to go to have a nice look to all the planes. Many of my family work at this airport. That’s pretty cool because I can get to some spots where “normal” people can’t reach :P It’s been a long time since the last visit there. I should go there for a night again.

I wanna save some money in the following months to visit some of my penpals in the UK and the USA. Next chance to fly <3 I really hope I can visit them all. Uargh, that would be too expensive for 1 year I guess. Haha! Someday!

Yesterday I bought two “new” games. You’ll know them: “Need for Speed: Underground 2″ and “Need for Speed: Most Wanted”. They’re both pretty old but still amazing good! The best to parts in the NFS-series in my opinion! I’ve started to play Most Wanted yesterday. I feel so good, like I’m 11/12 y/o again :D
I like Underground 2 more than Most Wanted but I decided to start playing with Most Wanted :) I’m on blacklist position 7 now. I try to complete this game asap and then go on with Underground 2. I’m so excited for Underground 2 because this game is awesome, uber awesome. Low graphics but great gameplay! If you don’t know these games, I totally recommend them to you!

I’m back! Back in Germany! I’ve been in Netherlands with some of my friends. We were participants of the Dutch Open 2011. My first official competition :) I was so excited for this event, started shaking days before. I realised that shaking is pretty bad for speedcubing, particularly not for new best times. As you can see on the pictures below this post, our hotel had speedcube-friendly floors! Amazing haha :D

We arrived at about 10pm in our hotel room, 10/28/2011. The whole competition started on 10/29/2011 at about 9am, so we had to get up early. This was quite difficult because we practised till 2am! On Saturday (10/29/2011) I had only one competition: 2x2x2. Unfortunately I’ve no videos of these solves :( Next time I’ll try to record more solves.

I’m not that happy about these times. My practise times were all a lot better. Between 5-12 seconds. Next time I’ll beat myself again anyway :)

On Sunday (10/30/2011) was my big day. My first official 3x3x3 competition. I was so damn excited and shaking all the time as you can see in the following video. Here are my 3x3x3 solves:

My 3x3x3 times: DNF, 24.11, 37.93, 29.46, 36.09 (Avg 3/5: 34.49)
This one damn DNF! I’ve done a mistakeat the last algorythm, so I stopped… I guess I’ll be better next time :)

Next time I will participate in more categories. 2x2x2, 3x3x3, 3x3x3 one-handed, megaminx, pyraminx and magic hopefully :) Today I ordered a new pyraminx and some other stuff. I’ll post a picture of all the new stuff when it’s here.

I’m looking forward to the next competition. Most likely in January 2012 in Aachen, Germany.

Hello world, today I sent two letters for some of my penpals :) Let’s hope they’ll arrive soon. This time there’s a little present in each letter. But ssshhhh :P I’m pretty excited for my next letters and I really hope to visit some of my penpals soon! Wish me luck!

A few days ago I’ve started writing to a girl from Finland. That’s so cool, because I’ve never been to Finland and I don’t know anything about this country except it’s above Germany haha! Oh and there’s one more thing about Finland, they got these beautiful northern lights! Amazing!

Official release date for Battlefield 3 is tomorrow, October 27th. But… Guess what? I’m currently holding BF3 in my hands! I was totally surprised yesterday in our local electronics store… I ordered Buttlerfly Effect 3 about 1 week ago and I was there to get it now, so I asked for my reservation. As I looked down I saw this:

How cool’s that?! They got it in store 1 day before the official release date! I was so happy <3 As soon as I was at home I installed BF3. I already got that Origin-thing, so I just needed to download BF3 :)
There was a pretty tricky part during the installation, haha! A “release-date”-verification. No joke. Normally I can’t activate the game in Germany before the official release-date, 27th October. Easy Peasy. Just entered an US-Proxy on my pc, run the verification again. Voilá! You can easily think of, what happened the rest of the night :D haha

Facebook will be pretty fucked up, when they notice the “Battlelog” of Battlefiel 3 :D Seems like a pretty good copy. Let’s see what happens.

Hell yeah! Finally it’s done! My website has a new theme and system. I was using my own system but now I switched to WordPress. Let’s see how it is. I also changed the theme. The new theme is pretty old but never had the time to program it :D These two steps were pretty good to combine :)

MyXoToD.de is now completely in english. Sorry to all of my german readers, just go ahead to my twitter account ;) I’ll go on tweetin’ in german. Some of my old blog posts are missing here and there are no comments yet but I hope you’ll help me out with some cool comments :P As I said, I kicked some old posts into the bin, cuz they were crap!

In this tutorial I wanna show you how to get some pretty useful and cool benefits for the iPhone game "Coin Dozer". Let’s go:

What you need:
- iPhone (jailbroken)
- Coin Dozer App
- pList Editor
- SSH Access to your iPhone
- WinSCP

How does it work?
In this tutorial I won’t show you how to jailbreak your iPhone, sorry. You can get the pList Editor here and WinSCP here.
There we go, download and install both programms. Connect via SSH on your iPhone using WinSCP. Go to this directory: /private/var/mobile/Applications/{{App-Folder}}/Libary/Preferences/

In this folder you should find a file called “com.leftover.CoinDozer.plist”
Copy this file to your desktop open it with pList-Editor.

Here’s a quick overview of what you can change (just search for the names in that file):

• _cbonus *: Bonuslevel for items
• collectable *: Quantity of items
• current_xp: Experience points. Increase this to get higher level
• total_coins: Amount of coins

* Multiple entries (for different items)

Don’t forget to set up the right bonus level, if you increase the itemamount.
